Nonminimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with Baryon and Lepton Number Violation

چکیده
We carry out a comprehensive analysis of the nonminimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) with baryon and lepton number violation. We catalogue the baryon and lepton number violating dimension four and five operators of the model. We then study the renormalization group evolution and infrared stable fixed points of the Yukawa couplings and the soft supersymmetry breaking trilinear couplings of this model with baryon and lepton number (and R-parity) violation involving the heaviest generations. We show analytically that in the Yukawa sector of the NMSSM there is only one infrared stable fixed point. This corresponds to a non-trivial fixed point for the top-, bottom-quark Yukawa couplings and the B violating coupling λ 233, and a trivial one for all other couplings. All other possible fixed points are either unphysical or unstable in the infra-red region. We also carry out an analysis of the renormalization group equations for the soft supersymmetry breaking trilinear couplings, and determine the corresponding fixed points for these couplings. We then study the quasi-fixed point behaviour, both of the third generation Yukawa couplings and the baryon number violating coupling, and those of the soft supersymmetry breaking trilinear couplings. From the analysis of the fixed point behaviour, we obtain upper and lower bounds on the baryon number violating coupling λ 233, as well as on the soft supersymmetry breaking trilinear couplings. Our analysis shows that the infrared fixed point behavior of NMSSM with baryon and lepton number violation is similar to that of MSSM. Reply to Comment on Infrared Fixed Point Structure in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with Baryon and Lepton Number Violation
Infrared fixed points in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with baryon and lepton number violation were studied and their structure elucidated by us in Physical Review D 63 076008 (2001). Here we reply to a comment on this paper. We emphasize that our paper concentrates on the case of the only true infrared fixed point in the model, i.e. the stable nontrivial fixed point for the topand ...
متن کاملComment on “Infrared Fixed Point Structure in Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with Baryon and Lepton Number Violation”
We reconsider the Infrared Quasi Fixed Points which were studied recently in the literature in the context of the Baryon and Lepton number violating Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (hep-ph/0011274). The complete analysis requires further care and reveals more structure than what was previously shown. The formalism we develop here is quite general, and can be readily applied to a large cla...
متن کاملThe More Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model
Effective Supersymmetry is presented as a theory of physics above the electroweak scale which has significant theoretical advantages over both the standard model and the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard model (MSSM). The theory is supersymmetric at short distances but differs significantly from the MSSM: there is no supersymmetric CP problem and flavor changing neutral currents and lepton flavor...

متن کاملNeutrino masses and Baryogenesis via Leptogenesis in the Exceptional Supersymmetric Standard Model
Netrino oscillation experiments discover that (left-handed) neutrinos have masses much less than charged leptons and quarks in the Standard Model. One solution to the light neutrino mass puzzle is the seesaw model where right-handed neutrinos are introduced with large Majorana masses. The heavy Majorana right-handed neutrinos lead to lepton number violation in the early universe. They decay int...
